Rear Admiral Prof. Gamal Ahmed Elnashar has declared the launch of the Fourth International Undergraduate Research Conference as scheduled on Monday 29/7/2019 in the campus of Military technical college.

A large number of Egyptian and international students from various honored universities and research institutions participated in the conference to present and discuss their research papers and essays.

An opening session was held on the first day of the conference. Two planetary talks were presented during the opening session. The first talk addressed "The Egyptian State Towards Knowledge Economy" by Dr. Amir Taher Elshekh, affiliated to the administrative control authority. Elshekh discussed the economic, social, and technological aspects of the Egyptian state and its stages of development and highlighted the current efforts to lay the foundation for a knowledgeable economy.

The second talk was presented by Dr. Khalid Abdel Rahman from the Leibniz University of Hannover titled "Behavior of wind energy foundation systems under cyclic loading". He discussed the future of energy harvesting in the European seas and addressed its different foundation concepts.

Afterward, six sessions were held concluding the undergrad students researches in various engineering aspects including electronics, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, chemical, civil, and architectural engineering,
